Fire Weather Watch
Cheyenne; Wallace
Fire Weather Watch issued April 13 at 11:48AM MDT until April 14 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS
Wind gusts up to 35 mph are forecast for today in the Red Flag Warning area but the strongest winds may be a bit more sporadic than what was initially anticipated. A period of northwesterly winds early this afternoon may occur across Logan and Gove counties. For the Fire Weather Watch Tuesday. Highest confidence in multiple hours of critical conditions is across Cheyenne county Colorado and Greeley county. Other counties, especially further east are more questionable due to the positioning of a developing low pressure system. If the low sets up to far south then winds may not be as strong.
