Local observations have shown patchy to areas of fog developing from Lake City eastward to Jacksonville and southward to Palatka and Gainesville where visibility has fallen to around a mile. Areas of fog, locally dense with visibility below a mile at times will persist through sunrise.

Some patchy dense fog will restrict visibilities to less than one mile across the north Georgia Mountains down into central Georgia. The fog should lift after 10 AM. If driving this morning, slow down, use low-beam headlights and leave extra distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
