Traffic flow lines: Black lines = a "Closed" road, Red lines = Heavy traffic flow, Yellow lines = Medium flow and Green = normal traffic - while no traffic flow lines indicates that either there is not enough flow to register, or traffic flow is not monitored there. If you do not see traffic flow, you may have to zoom in closer. A red circle with a slash can also indicate a closed road.

Lane Closed on SR-1336 Near Aurora
The DOT has a contract to replace the old structure with a new one. In order to perform this work a temporary struture has been built to maintain traffic flow but only one lane. The lane closure will be directed by portable traffic lights on either side of the temporary struture. 
DETOUR: There is an onsite detour set up. The traffic pattern will be one lane two way and will be controlled by poratable traffic lights.

Road Closed on SR-1136 In Chocowinity
The Department has a contract with S.T.Wooten to replace the existing bridge which will be in the same location. The road will be closed starting on 7/22/2019 and will remain closed for approximately 240 days.  
DETOUR: The detour route will be signed for the travelling public to follow and is as follows. Travelling North on Gray Road the public will turn left on Price Road and head towards US 17. Once at US 17 turn right and head towards NC 33 and take Exit 176 then turn right at the light at the top of the ramp. Travel approximately ¼ mile and turn right on Gray Road. Travelling South on Gray Road the public will follow the detour signs on NC 33 and head towards the exit for US 17 South. Once on US 17 South follow the signs to Price Road and turn Left. Once on Price Road head towards Gray Road and turn left. The road will remain open to local traffic only.
