At Dickey Ferry, water begins to approach homes near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 17.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM EDT Friday was 17.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8 feet just after midnight tonight. This isolates 10 homes in the area. Flooding along the road subsides 2 to 3 days after the river crests in Statenville or when the river falls below 96 feet. At 100.0 feet, The boat ramp near the gauge and adjacent parking lot are flooded.
