* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory, southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. For the High Wind Watch, west winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible. * WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern Valley, Garfield, McCone, Petroleum, and Southwest Phillips Counties. * WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 6 PM MDT Monday. For the High Wind Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power bumps. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Strong to high winds could generate large waves on Fort Peck Lake which could swamp or tip small craft.

Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Strong winds could result in significant blowing snow and damage to trees and power lines.
