Mid-Atlantic Coastal Roads
Our friends in the Mid-Atlantic are experiencing a strong Nor'easter, impacting several travel routes. Expect significant coastal flooding and hazardous conditions along the
Garden State Parkway and
Interstate 95 through southern New Jersey. The
US-1 and
NC-12 along the North Carolina coast will face wind gusts over 40 mph, causing potential delays, especially during high tide cycles. Conditions are expected to improve by Thursday.
Southwest and Four Corners
We're looking at some wet conditions in the Southwest and Four Corners regions. Starting today, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact commuters on
Interstate 40 and
US-60 in Arizona and New Mexico. Central and Southern California, including areas along
Interstate 5 and
Highway 99, will see scattered storms and a slight risk of flash flooding. On Thursday, the focus for flash flooding shifts more over to the Four Corners area, so be cautious on these routes.
Western Temperature Dip
Throughout these days, the Western U.S. will experience cooler than average temperatures. As the cold front moves through, expect chilly conditions along
Interstate 80 and
Highway 101. Remember to keep an eye on the weather updates and drive safely.
