Flood Advisory issued May 4 at 8:31PM EDT until May 4 at 11:30PM EDT by NWS Morristown TN

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Bledsoe and Rhea. * WHEN...Until 1130 PM EDT /1030 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 828 PM EDT /728 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding has already been reported by local law enforcement on Upper East Valley Rd north of Pikeville. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the last hour and any additional rains will lead to continued flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1.0 inches are possible over the next hour. This additional rain will result in continued flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dayton, Pikeville and Melvine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following county, Bledsoe. * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms that continue to develop and move over the same areas. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pikeville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
