Patchy dense fog is causing visibilities to drop below a 1/4 mile at times near Livingston and down into the Paradise Valley. The fog will gradually lift over the next couple of hours. Locations impacted include... Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Pine Creek, Chico, and Emigrant. Use caution and slow down if driving this morning. Low visibility shortens the amount of time you have to react to situations.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of north central Montana, including the following area, Bears Paw Mountains and Southern Blaine. * WHEN...From noon MDT today through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy snow in the Bears Paw Mountains will start to melt out today and Saturday. For the Clear Creek...including Chinook...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor to moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Clear Creek at Chinook. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 6.5 feet, Machinist Road not passable. Clear Creek Road covered by water in two locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 6.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM MDT Thursday was 7.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected remain near 6.6 feet through just after midnight tonight.
