Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Hinds and Warren Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Black River near Bovina. * WHEN...Until Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Several access roads along and near the river are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 31.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 13.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.7 feet on 06/19/1997. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Lower Pearl River...including Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Friday was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 10.5 feet Monday, May 06. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.6 feet on 04/17/2000. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
