At 456 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Towanda to near Douglass. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... El Dorado, Augusta, Douglass, Towanda, Leon, Rosalia, Cassoday, El Dorado Airport, El Dorado Lake, and El Dorado State Park. This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 64 and 96.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Wichita, Derby, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Mulvane, Rose Hill, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Benton, Udall, Eastborough, East Wichita, Mcconnell Air Force Base, South Wichita, Rock, Santa Fe Lake, Augusta Municipal Airport, and Oaklawn. This includes the following highways... Interstate 135 near Mile Marker 0. Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 25 and 66.

Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett affecting Anderson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flood waters overflow the north bank and flood cultivated fields north of the creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:46 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet. - Forecast...The creek is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 27.9 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Kansas, including the following county, Anderson. * WHEN...Until 745 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 144 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Colony, Kincaid and Lone Elm.
