The Flood Advisory will expire at 515 PM EDT this afternoon for a portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following areas, Bell, Clay, Harlan, Knox and Leslie. The threat for widespread flooding has increased over portions of the area. Therefore the Flood Advisory has been replaced by a Flash Flood Warning in portions of Harlan, Bell, and Leslie Counties. That warning is in effect until 630 PM EDT. Please refer to that bulletin for more information.

Locations that are impacted by repeated heavy downpours may receive excessive rainfall which leads to flash flooding.
