Although heat index values will only be near 100, the prolonged period of late season hot temperatures and high humidity will continue to elevate heat-related health impacts.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Missouri... Grand River near Sumner affecting Carroll, Livingston, Linn and Chariton Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Sumner. * WHEN...From Friday morning to late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage begins to flood. At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is flooded. At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 26.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
