Localized very dense fog has developed along the northern and central Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. This affects Interstate 64 at Afton Mountain, and Highway 211 at Thornton Gap. Motorists should use extreme caution when driving through this area this morning. Reduce speed, leave extra travel time and following distance, and use low beam headlights.
