Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Water is in the yards of some homes in the Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas, including Riverside Dr and Shorewood Dr. There are 3-4 inches of water over 77th Street in the Town of Wheatland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:00 PM CDT Friday was 10.4 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 11.2 feet tomorrow morning. It will rise to 11.4 feet late Saturday night then begin to fall.
