At 949 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mapleton, or 9 miles southeast of Provo, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Provo, Spanish Fork, Springville, and Mapleton. This includes the following highways... US Route 6 between mile markers 174 and 176. US Route 40 between mile markers 34 and 36.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following areas, Animas River Basin, Four Corners/Upper Dolores River, Northwest San Juan Mountains, San Juan River Basin and Southwest San Juan Mountains. * WHEN...Through midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. This also includes the Babylon burn scar as well as slot canyons and areas of steep, susceptible terrain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through this evening, producing periods of heavy rainfall and potential flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
