* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Jefferson County in east Tennessee... Central Sevier County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 515 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 313 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Harrisburg, Fairgarden and Bird Crossing. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

At 211 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Crossville, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, and Lake Tansi. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 326 and 339.
