At 501 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 312 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Red Flag Warning issued September 14 at 1:26AM MDT until September 14 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 434 through 436. * WIND...West to Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, gusts between 35 to 45 mph. * HUMIDITY...Relative humidities as low as 12 to 17%. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
