Northwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma... * Until 700 PM CDT. * At 616 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Cloudy, or 21 miles southeast of Clayton, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Latimer, Pittsburg and Pushmataha. * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 455 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
