SVRSHV The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma... * Until 700 PM CDT. * At 616 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Cloudy, or 21 miles southeast of Clayton, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Smithville, Bethel, Battiest, Pickens, Ringold, Mount Herman, and Sherwood.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Latimer, Pittsburg and Pushmataha. * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 455 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clayton... Kiowa... Yanush... Tuskahoma... Blanco... Pittsburg... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread heavy rainfall over the last week has led to very saturated ground, excessive runoff, and rising rivers and streams across the area. Another couple rounds of showers and storms are expected this weekend, with widespread moderate to locally heavy rainfall possible through Sunday evening.
