* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 35 will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Central St. Louis, North St. Louis, and Northern Cook and Lake Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion and, Nett Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Voyageurs National Park. The entire Boundary Waters is also included. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

...The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota... Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa and Yellow Medicine Counties. .Rainfall from Monday night has caused area rivers to rise. Additional rain is possible this afternoon. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo. * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 13.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising to a crest of 14.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.6 feet on 07/26/1962.

Additional rainfall may also be possible Wednesday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in North Redwood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 21.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 900 AM CDT Wednesday was 21.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.2 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.2 feet on 05/02/2006.
