At 1058 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Carrier Mills, or 8 miles southwest of Harrisburg, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... At 1022 PM CDT, observations continued to indicate gusty winds ahead of a line of showers along a line extending from near Warren to Mount Carroll. Movement was east at 50 mph. This gusty outflow ahead of the showers has a history of producing 40 to 50 mph gusts, much of this being ahead of any rain. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include...
