At 410 AM EST, radar indicated an area of snow from near New London to Upper Sandusky to Marion, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARDS INCLUDE... Visibility dropping to less than three quarters of a mile... Up to 1 inch of quick snow accumulation... Locations impacted include... Mansfield, Marion, Wooster, Ashland, Mount Vernon, Bucyrus, Upper Sandusky, Mount Gilead, Millersburg, Galion, Shelby, Orrville, Berlin, Rittman, Ontario, Lexington, Crestline, Walnut Creek, Doylestown, and Loudonville. Use extra caution if you must travel. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to accidents.

Snow will overspread the area through daybreak before tapering off later this morning. Snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts can be expected. While most of the snow accumulation will be on grassy and elevated surfaces, some slick spots will develop, especially on bridges and overpasses. Reduced visibilities will also be possible. Please use extra caution if traveling this morning and allow for some extra time to reach your destination.

Given ground temperatures will initially be warm, snow will accumulate on grassy and elevated surfaces. However, as temperatures drop, some slick spots may develop, particularly on decks, bridges, and overpasses. Those planning travel should allow extra time to reach their destination.
