...FLOOD WARNING EXTENDED UNTIL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...THE FLOOD
WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE NUECES RIVER AT COTULLA.
* FROM EARLY FRIDAY MORNING TO LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...OR UNTIL THE
WARNING IS CANCELLED.
* AT  8:00 AM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 10.3 FEET.
* MODERATE FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 15.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE
SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT FRIDAY MORNING AND CREST AROUND 15.2
FEET FOR MUCH OF DAY BEFORE FALLING BACK BELOW FLOOD STAGE LATE
FRIDAY NIGHT.

* AT 15.0 FEET MODERATE LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS.  THE PERIPHERAL
CHANNELS BETWEEN COTULLA AND TILDEN CUTS OFF AREAS OF THE FLOOD
PLAIN...AND ISOLATE OR DROWN CATTLE.  IRRIGATION PUMPS...OIL FIELD
TANKS...AND HUNTING CABINS ARE FLOODED NEAR THE RIVER.
