Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Halls, Maloneyville, Mascot and House Mountain State Park. This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 397 and 399.

West Central Knox County in east Tennessee... * Until 1045 PM EDT. * At 845 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Oak Ridge, Farragut, Oliver Springs, Karns and Powell. This includes the following highways... Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 113 and 115. Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 369 and 375.
