* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Anson County in central North Carolina... Southwestern Hoke County in central North Carolina... Southern Montgomery County in central North Carolina... Southwestern Moore County in central North Carolina... Richmond County in central North Carolina... Scotland County in central North Carolina... Southern Stanly County in central North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 938 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northwestern Pasquotank County in northeastern North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1130 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 934 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
