An ice jam release may cause a rapid increase in water levels and flow in the Roaring Fork River. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by an ice jam is possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the following areas, Central Colorado River Basin and Gore and Elk Mountains/Central Mountain Valleys. * WHEN...Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Anglers and anyone near or in the Roaring Fork River should use extreme caution and be on the lookout for ice and debris flowing in the river.
