Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam. * WHEN...Until Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 49 feet, lowland flooding near the river occurs, as well as backwater flooding in southern Clermont and Brown Counties in Ohio and Bracken County in Kentucky. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 49.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is now cresting and will remain below the flood stage. - Action stage is 49.0 feet. - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

Backwater flooding into creeks and streams can also be expected. The City of Maysville itself is protected by flood walls to stages just above 79 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 49.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will continue to slowly fall and remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 48.0 feet. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati also flood. Most of Public Landing is flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 51.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting and will remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
