...RED FLAG WARNING THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY EVENING... .Breezy to locall windy conditions are bringing critical fire weather conditions through the Grande Ronde Valley. Winds expect to remain strong through the evening with RH values dropping down as low as 23 percent. The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect until 7 PM PDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 694 Grande Ronde Valley of Oregon. * TIMING...Until 7 PM PDT this evening. * WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Breezy to locally windy conditions will bring patchy to localized areas of blowing dust across the Grande Ronde Valley through this evening. Prepare for sudden changes in visibility along roadways and on interstate 84.
