A complex system moving into the Great Lakes later today will bring the potential of moderate, wet snowfall accumulation of 2 to locally 4 inches tonight into early Monday morning. This may impact the Monday morning commute, particularly for those traveling in high terrain areas west of Marquette. Those planning travel over north central Upper Michigan tonight or Monday morning should be prepared for slippery, snow- covered roadways and limited visibility at times in snow. Please exercise caution on the slippery roadways by reducing speed and allowing extra time to reach your destination.

* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches, greatest in higher terrain areas between Painesdale and Copper Harbor. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph after midnight mainly north of Calumet. * WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
