Patchy dense fog continues across Rocksprings and nearby areas. Local visibilities are being reduced to 1/4 mile or less in this dense fog. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights in fog, and leave plenty of distance between you and other vehicles. Visibilities are forecast to improve by 9 AM.

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected. * WHERE...Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas and Southeast New Mexico. * WHEN...From 8 AM MST /9 AM CST/ to 8 PM MST /9 PM CST/ Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Aviation interests may experience localized but extreme turbulence, or strong downward airflows if flying in the near the Guadalupe Mountains.

For the Angelina River...including Alto, Lufkin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin. * WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 161.0 feet, Expect minor flooding with the gravel parking lot flooded and water beginning to overflow the gravel road where it widens into the parking lot.
