Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Brief periods of heavy snow will affect northwest Minnesota this morning. This will lead to sudden reductions in visibility under half a mile and quick accumulations up to 1 inch of snow. Persons and vehicles across this area should prepare for suddenly deteriorated travel conditions. If you are traveling, reduce your speed and turn on headlights. Don't use cruise control, and don't slam on the brakes.
