Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Red River near Gainesville affecting Cooke and Love Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Red River near Gainesville. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Low-lying fields... upstream in western Love County in Oklahoma... and Cooke County in Texas... may experience shallow overflows several hours before the crest reaches the Interstate Highway I-35 crossing north of Gainesville. Sandpit operations may be affected.
