* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, in east central Pennsylvania, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton. In northeast Pennsylvania, Carbon and Monroe. In southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 3 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy showers and thunderstorms will continue over the next several hours. Storms will be capable of dropping a quick 1 to 2 inches of rainfall within a 1 to 3 hour period leading to flash flooding. In Pennsylvania, Northern Erie County. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT Thursday through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.
