This storm is about to move over areas in southeast and central El Paso which have already received up to 1.50 inches of rain earlier this evening. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. At 1146 PM MDT, Thunderstorms have diminished in intensity over the Otero Mesa. Radar estimates 2.50 to 3 inches of rain fell in Otero County, northwest of Dell City. This will result in flooding in various draws that flow towards Dell City. Retention dams will prevent water from reaching Dell City, but flooding will impact rural roads north and northwest of town, especially across the New Mexico border. The band has been persistent, and has set itself up over an already saturated area from earlier rainfall.
