* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Bracken County Kentucky and Pendleton County Kentucky. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 335 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... McKinneysburg, Falmouth, Browning Corner, Neave, Kincaid Lake State Park, Lenoxburg, Berlin, Catawba, Milford, Petra, Powersville and Santa Fe. This includes areas along the North Fork Licking River in Bracken County.

At 230 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles south of Edmonton to near Tompkinsville to 9 miles east of Red Boiling Springs. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tompkinsville, Burkesville, Leslie, Waterview, Meshack, Persimmon, Blythe, Ellington, Willow Shade, and Grider.
