...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana...Texas... Sabine River Near Deweyville Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 945 PM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM CDT Friday was 24.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 24.5 feet. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the East Fork San Jacinto River...including New Caney, Cleveland...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork San Jacinto near New Caney. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 58.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage with minor roads such as Chinquapin and Riverside Roads beginning to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 59.4 feet. - Bankfull Stage is 54.50. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Friday was 59.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 48.1 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 58.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 59.6 feet on 12/25/1991. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
