In Mississippi, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 7 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected during high tide Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Mississippi...Louisiana... Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting St. Tammany, Pearl River and Hancock Counties. For the Lower Pearl River...including Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 10.6 feet Monday, May 06. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.3 feet on 05/25/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Hinds and Warren Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Black River near Bovina. * WHEN...Until Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Several access roads along and near the river are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 31.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 13.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.7 feet on 06/19/1997. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
