Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Flood waters may begin to impact land inside the southeast section of the city's levee system near Wood Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 1.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 23.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
