Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 27 at 10:07PM EDT until May 27 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 27 at 9:46PM EDT until May 27 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 2.6 feet, water may begin to pond in the parking lot at Annapolis City Dock, and surround the Alex Haley Memorial. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 9:40 AM.

At 935 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Grasonville to Tilghman Island to Chesapeake Beach. Movement was east to southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... University Of Maryland Center For Environmental Studies around 1005 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Galestown, Madison, Taylors Island, Brookview, Eldorado, Woolford, Hudson, East New Market, Church Creek, and Bucktown.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Maryland, including the following county, Howard. * WHEN...Until 115 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Water continues to rise along the Patapsco River due to earlier rainfall. Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations near the river is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 922 PM EDT, Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Larger creeks will continue to rise due to runoff from the earlier rainfall. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
