Portneuf River at Topaz affecting Bannock County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Portneuf River at Topaz. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Lowland and crop field flooding possible from Pebble Creek to Inkom. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:15 PM MDT Saturday the stage was 4.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:15 PM MDT Saturday was 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 4.5 feet Sunday morning and remain above flood stage for much of the next week. - Flood stage is 4.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.5 feet on 02/22/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Portneuf River at Pocatello affecting Bannock County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Portneuf River at Pocatello. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Significant flooding of agricultural land will occur from the Inkom and Blackrock area. Lowland flooding will occur along sections of the river in Pocatello from Portneuf Gap to the Cheyenne Avenue Bridge and downstream of the concrete channel beginning at Sacajawea Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM MDT Saturday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM MDT Saturday was 10.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.7 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 8.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.7 feet on 01/09/1973. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
