For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Osage River at Fulton. * WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, major flooding begins at the gage site. Flood waters reach the bottom of Old Highway 69 bridge at the previous gage site. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:31 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:31 PM CDT Thursday was 26.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5 feet tomorrow evening. At 21.0 feet, County Road Y 5 near the gage floods, 3 miles north of Reading. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
