The Flood Advisory will expire at 11 PM CDT this evening for a portion of south central Texas, including the following areas, Blanco and Gillespie. The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Edwards County in south central Texas... Southwestern Real County in south central Texas... * WHEN...Until 130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1037 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. Grayson County in north central Texas... * WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 923 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sherman, Bonham, Denison, Van Alstyne, Howe, Pottsboro, Leonard, Whitewright, Bells, Tom Bean, Savoy, Ector, Trenton, Knollwood, Ravenna, Dorchester, Valley Lake, Randolph, Randell Lake and Eisenhower State Park.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Collin County in north central Texas... Northeastern Denton County in north central Texas... * WHEN...Until 1130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 833 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... McKinney, Frisco, Denton, Prosper, Anna, Princeton, Celina, Melissa, Pilot Point, Aubrey, Krugerville, Cross Roads, Ray Roberts Park Isle Du Bois, Ray Roberts Park Johnson Branch, Blue Ridge, New Hope and Weston.
