FFWILN The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Adams County in south central Ohio... Southeastern Brown County in southwestern Ohio... * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 749 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... West Union, Manchester, Ripley, Aberdeen, Blue Creek, Decatur, Bentonville, Dunkinsville, Cedar Mills, Bradysville and Wamsley. This includes areas along Eagle Creek in southeastern Brown County and southwestern Adams County, and Ohio Brush Creek in southern Adams County.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kalida, Glandorf, Ottoville, Fort Jennings, Cloverdale, and Rimer.

At 716 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles south of Peebles to near Aberdeen, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... West Union, Manchester, Tollesboro, Rome, Blue Creek, Concord, Trinity, Carrs, Bradysville, State Route 348 at State Route 125, Wamsley, Turkey Creek Lake, Bentonville, and Cedar Mills. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
