At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 11 miles north of Golconda to near Providence, or extending from 15 miles south of Harrisburg to near Providence, moving north at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The strong thunderstorm will be near... Sturgis, Clay and Providence around 1045 PM CDT. Dixon around 1050 PM CDT. Shawneetown, Morganfield and Breckinridge Center around 1055 PM CDT. Equality and Harrisburg around 1100 PM CDT. Uniontown, Ridgway, Eldorado and Corydon around 1105 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Karbers Ridge, Wheatcroft, Gross, Old Shawneetown, Junction, Waverly, Muddy and Raleigh.
