High water crosses SR 358 on the Daviess County side just west of the levee. Flooding begins to affect higher bottomlands. Residential property of river cabins begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EDT Sunday /6:00 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 17.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EDT Sunday /6:00 PM CDT Sunday/ was 17.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4 feet just after midnight tonight. State Road 257 may begin to flood if Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet. Flooding begins in higher bottomlands. High water affects any residents in Pottsville river cabins. Pottsville Road...North C Street on river side of railroad tracks and Catt Street near U.S. Highway 41 are flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in the vicinity of submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields flood. Flood gates must be installed at Hazleton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.8 feet early Wednesday morning. East Fork White River near Rivervale. .Heavy rainfall during the first half of this past week of two to three inches has produced minor flooding on the East Fork White River at Seymour and Rivervale. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Lowland flood continues. County Road 700 E begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Sunday was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.3 feet just after midnight tonight. East Fork White River near Rivervale. .Heavy rainfall during the first half of this past week of two to three inches has produced minor flooding on the East Fork White River at Seymour and Rivervale. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River near Rivervale. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Lawrenceport Road just east of Lawrenceport and on the south side of river begins to flood around this level. During typical floods in this area this portion of the road can be flooded by 5 to more than 10 feet of water. During the January 2005 flood this area would have been near the "bottom" of the river, underwater by nearly 17 feet. In the Great March 1913 flood, more than 25 feet of water would have covered this location. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 20.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Sunday was 20.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
