At 503 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles southeast of Cyril, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Chickasha, Cyril, Cement, Norge, Agawam, Ninnekah, and Acme.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma... Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs. Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet just after midnight tonight. Carter... and Johnston counties. Flooding is confined to low-bottom fields... mostly near tributary creeks which can flood independently of the Washita River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet. - Forecast...The Washita River is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet just after midnight tonight. - Action stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood stage is 27.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Clear Boggy Creek near Caney affecting Atoka County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney. * WHEN...Until late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Creek levels rise to three feet higher than flood stage in western Atoka County and the northeastern edge of Bryan County. High stages on small feeder streams result in even greater depths to mainstem bottomlands near their points of entry into Clear Boggy Creek. Croplands... pastures... and some secondary rural roads are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is expected to rise to a crest of 29.2 feet this evening. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Very heavy rainfall over the last week has led to widespread runoff, which has greatly reduced the amount of rain needed for flooding to occur.
