Winter Storm Warning issued January 19 at 9:52PM EST until January 20 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with totals between 5 and 9 inches. * WHERE...The mid-Hudson Valley, eastern Catskills, central and southern Taconics, and the Rensselaer Plateau in eastern New York, western Massachusetts, northwest Connecticut, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult to impossible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing northwest winds gusting to 20 mph tonight combined with colder temperatures will result in wind chills or "feel-like temperatures" in the single digits with below-zero readings for elevations 1000 feet and higher.

Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches with the highest totals farther south and east. * WHERE...Orange, Windsor and Rutland counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Areas of blowing snow could further reduce visibilities and make travel more hazardous.
