At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lagrange, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Angola, Lagrange, Wolcottville, Orland, Stroh, Flint, Mongo, Indianola, Lake Gauge, Brushy Prairie, Woodruff, Crooked Lake, Elmira, Big Long Lake, Eddy, Adams Lake, Oliver Lake, Plato, and Big Turkey Lake. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 347 and 351. Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 133 and 135.

At 618 PM EDT/518 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Long Beach, or near Trail Creek, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Michigan City, La Porte, Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, Trail Creek, Fair Plain, Benton Heights, Bridgman, New Buffalo, Berrien Springs, Three Oaks, Long Beach, Stevensville, Pottawattamie Park, Shorewood-Tower Hill, Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert, Lake Michigan Beach, Sodus, Riverside, and Baroda. This includes the following highways... Interstate 196 between mile markers 0 and 6. Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 45 and 53. Interstate 94 in Indiana between mile markers 37 and 45. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana... Wabash River at Montezuma, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, and Riverton. .Minor river flooding continues but is expected to come to an end on the Wabash River by Friday evening. The crest is currently near Riverton. Additional rainfall from multiple systems over the next week could bring renewed minor river flooding to the Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Thursday was 15.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Additional rainfall from multiple systems over the next week could bring renewed minor river flooding to the Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Some agricultural lands underwater. A few rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up Minnow Slough. High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in Palestine. A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in Sullivan County may flood. Water level is at the top of most makeshift levees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday /9:00 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 15.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM EDT Thursday /9:00 AM CDT Thursday/ was 15.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.7 feet this afternoon.
