IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sweetwater, Trent, Gannon, Lake Sweetwater, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 608 And Highway 147, Camp Boothe Oaks, and Busby. This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 237 and 265.

Gainesville, Sanger, Whitesboro, Denison, Pilot Point, Aubrey, Pottsboro, Collinsville, Lindsay, Callisburg, Ray Roberts Park Isle Du Bois, Hubert H Moss Lake, Lake Kiowa, Ray Roberts Park Johnson Branch, Lake Texoma, Eisenhower State Park, Preston, Southmayd, Tioga, and Road Runner. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Harris County in southeastern Texas... * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 224 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... The combination of hot temperatures and elevated humidity levels will produce heat index values between 108 and 111 degrees for several hours this afternoon into this evening. A few locations may briefly experience heat index values above 111 degrees. If you plan to spend time outside, drink plenty of water, wear light weight and light colored clothing and take frequent breaks from the heat. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
