* WHAT...Elevated high tides of 6.7 to 6.8 feet are expected this evening. Combined with moderate surf, nuisance coastal flooding is possible. * WHERE...Ventura County Beaches. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Pooling of sea water is possible around high tide at beach and harbor areas that is uncommon with normal tidal ranges. Slightly enhanced beach erosion is also possible. No significant damage is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides will occur between 9 and 10 PM.

Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.
