A weakening Nor'easter will bring some rain to Cape Cod, MA, while the Southwest and Southern Plains brace for potentially heavy rain and flash flooding due to tropical moisture from Hurricane Polo. Our Nor'easter situated over Cape Cod, MA is calming down and shifting northeast over the Atlantic. Expect the rain to ease up by late Tuesday morning and the system to move east of Canada by Wednesday.

The risk of too much rain continues into Wednesday hitting parts of the Southern Plains, with a focus on areas like Amarillo, TX. We're expecting widespread rainfall of 3-6 inches, possibly even more in some places. Flash flooding is a significant concern, so keep an eye on streams and rivers, especially in recently burned areas.

Considerable flooding might also affect areas like Omaha, NE into Des Moines, IA with the bulk of the rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, the downpours continue over the Southern Plains with more flash floods expected. Stay safe and avoid flooded roads.
